Brno University of Technology is one of the largest and major universities in Brno, consisting of eight faculties. The summer topology conference is hosted by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, which affords the rooms and lecture halls for the conference and most of the electronic and audio-visual equipment. Some of the rooms are afforded also by the Faculty of Business and Management, which shares the conference building with the main host. A free Wi-Fi internet connection and a modern computer equipment is a matter of course.

The main conference building at Kolejní 4, is located in a calm, northwest part of the city, in one of many university campuses in Brno. The campus is adjacent to the Czech Technology Park, one of the most important centers of research, technology, commerce and light industry in Brno. The campus creates with the technology park one integral complex. In the immediate neighborhood there are partially wooded slopes of the nature reserve Medlánecké kopce, protecting some, in the region uncommon kinds of plants, animals and insect. Thus the location, among others, is a possible example of the integration of the research, technology and environmental protection. In the campus area there is also a university dormitory, Hotel Palacký, which will be offered as one of the accommodation possibilities for the participants.
